A bit about me, and my bags.

I've spent a lot of time creating along and between the intersections of various craft disciplines.

After studying fine furniture design and woodwork in my home city of Oxford, I gradually found my way towards creating with more sensitive processes and softer materials.

I create each bag using a variety of soft and hard materials.

From creating bespoke wooden furniture to fashioning hand-made leather shoes using traditional materials and techniques, I've explored numerous practices.

I find handbags to be the perfect vessel for my varied interest in craft.

I adore the contrast of using silky fabrics or soft suedes and leathers in conjunction with more resistant materials for structuring, before tying these creations together with satisfyingly stitched and formed leather handles.

I enjoy sewing together structured panels with soft flexible curved seems, and experimenting with the variety of subtle contours that can be achieved with these techniques.
